Personal Review: Eden has been avoiding the Halloween festivities, content with seeing her alpha crush around campus as she works up the courage to speak to him. In this haunting read, the world is changed, thrown back into the the times before electricity, all due to the fact that man eating demons roam the earth. Reia is made to be an offering to one of the strongest of them, a terrifying creature with not so terrifying motives. This read was thrilling, frightening and, melt your heart, warm. Personal Review: Halloween is surrounded by spooks and terrors, created by the imaginations of ourselves and others. Ember enjoys her time flipping through the air with her lover and best friend. Going from one act to another, when suddenly her life gets disrupted and it turns out, that not only is her childhood imaginary friends she had all but forgotten about are real, but they also happen to be her husbands who live in the dream realm. Princes of their own castle, and nightmares at that. This book went by pretty quickly. It's a book that holds all kind of monsters. Thanks to the human mind, things created in the dream realm are almost limitless. It's definitely a good one for this Halloween season. Filled with a medium burn romance and an entertaining plot. Personal Review: The circus has come to town, and they're all ready to swing axes. Poet is not happy. Although she's a fortune teller with real psychic abilities, she also runs just about everything else in the circus she's called home for a long time now. Suddenly her boss wants her to make nice with the new security guard, handing over one of her many jobs. Mean words doesn't stop the sparks from flying, only problem now is the fact that said security guard is a total mundane citizen, while everyone else in the circus are aware of the paranormal, and moon lights as monster hunters. This was a cute read. With a enemies to lovers story that'll have you smirking. There's also spooks and gypsies, monsters, and monster slayers. It's a great one for Halloween. Enjoy the mystery that follows this odd circus, while they fight evil and attempt to tease each other too the brink of bodily harm.

Personal Review: Juno sees ghosts, its what made her so perfect for the spirit squad, a group of Paranormal chasers. Finding herself on the estate of a reclusive manor is their big shot to make it big, but due to a twist of faith, her enemies are also invited. With her sleeping under the same roof as her enemies, Juno can't rest easy, especially since the shadows seem to be sentient, beds somehow vibrates, and bathtubs come with the threat of transferring her to another dimension. But despite all of this, the deadliest thing of all is Juno's curiosity, and the shiver down her spine that has nothing to do with fear. Such a haunting read with imagery that'll leave you just a tad bit fearful. Personal Review: Even real life can be hauntingly scary, especially when one is dealing with a psychotic magi. Sawyer is "dead," but thieving. When an old enemy decides she should be dead, dead, Sawyer runs to the place she had come to call home. There, she finds the love she needs, in more ways than one. Now she's surrounded by hot, dangerous men, who share a similar goal to hers, freedom from their haunting pasts. This was a darker toned read, filled with violence and hurt. Sawyer, our female protagonist, thinks she has her shit together most days, but even then her past haunts her like a yodeling ghost, chasing her till she's an actual ghost. Sawyer is strong though, despite her terror, and hurt, there's still some fight left in her. She's a hardened killer with powers perfect for the hunt. Personal Review: Nina is tormented everyday of her life, until she finally escapes her cage, only to be thrown into another. Now, she surrounded by hardened men and women, monstrous beings with incredible abilities. Of course these monsters see this sightless sheep and find themselves wanting to take a bite. It's a beautiful read with a cute and naïve protagonist. Sometimes you want to reach between the pages and give her a squeezing hug, because she's that adorable, and sometimes her goodness and naivety makes you want to shake her. Her monstrous men are what really make the story though. Each interaction between them all, gives the story MORE. It's a sweet, but terrifying love story. Personal Review: We've all dressed up as a hot angle or demon during at least one Halloween. Melisande has fallen and landed herself in hell. Her halo broken, her wings blackened, and her heavenly magic corrupted, there is only one thing on her mind. Vengeance. She didn't actually fall, she was pushed, now she must fight to survive in hell, and try not to lose her heart to hell's most dangerous men. A great read for this Halloween season. I mean all devil's and ghouls originate from hell. The story is action packed and fun. It's cool seeing an angel be kind of hellish. The story also heats up as men she shouldn't fall for, are already falling at her feet, despite the intense bickering between them. It's a story that portrays the saying, "How can something so wrong, yet feel so right?"

Personal Review: No Halloween booklist should be without a plot with a haunted house and murder mystery!! Kali just wants to move on from her sister's death, and do what she loves, make costumes for the Halloween celebrators. But life has other plans, when a trip to a haunted house, turns into a criminal act of murder and mayhem. Now Kali is seeing the dead man that she quite literally found herself tripping over, much like how she once saw her dead sister. For some reason she can't let this mystery go, this one she has to solve. The book was entertaining and like most mystery reads, left a puzzle to solve by the reader. The protagonist frustrated me, having almost no self preservation and thought out plans for the consequences she would have likely faced. Honestly, I considered stopping, but this one is a real page turner and despite my frustration, I admired the bravery and tenacity of the heroine. By the end of it I was ready for book 2. It's a perfect start for your Halloween, take a peek into this haunting mystery!.

Personal Review: How is it a Halloween themed list without witches? Eloise has only known her very powerful family and the act of being a good circus clown for her family's rivals and friends, by showing off her very illegal powers. Unfortunately for her, she uses her powers at the wrong time and lands herself in a rehabilitation institute, filled with snarling, murderous, hybrid men, and very suspicious staff. It's a nightmare in its own right, and all she's looking to do is keep her head down and be released. This read was an unexpected mystery. What's happening in that so called rehabilitation academy, makes for an interesting plot, that is sure to draw you in. If that doesn't, then the enemies to lover romance is sure to. I mean how can anyone love such evil men? And yes men, because this is the beginning of a reverse harem romance. The characters are interesting, freaky, and slightly creepy, each in their own way. This is a read perfect to keep you entertained by its mystery and romance. Let's not forget that you begin to find out that many are not who or what they seem!

Personal Review: One ghost story is never enough. Darby talks to the dead. Not a very useful power for her I'm her day to day, but very useful for her job as a homicide detective. Insert murder, and hot guy, whose not what he seems, a gay best friend who rather turn away from oddities around him rather than face them, and a sassy ghost, who takes no one shit. What do you get? A fast paced art of badassery. This is a story perfect for reading on the go. Short and sweet with a lot to eat!!!! You'll definitely be consumed by this first book in this series. The heroine is a cranky, shit talker, whose braver than most, since she not only catches bad guys, but deals with ghost regularly. It had action and laughs, a potential enemies to lovers romance, and you know, a whole lot of dead people. Its perfect for this Halloween. Personal Review: All Gideon wants is to escape her life if servitude to someone she deems wicked. With petulance and defiance galore, she makes another attempt to escape her life, and fails. Now she's tempted to help those she despises, if only it may mean her freedom. This is a read that originally wasn't meant for this list, a personal read, meant for my spare time I've had, so its very much an unfinished read. But it's too captivating to not share. Its filled with a morbid hilarity and a potential love hate romance. It's perfect for this list not just because of the necromancer and all the bones and death, but also its haunting and sense of utter defeat lingering in its first pages. You feel for the character immediately. Feeling her captivity and frustrated at being outplayed by her nemesis. A nemesis that I hope may be a lover.
